Caleb, I can understand how people do not want to leave their small town and see anything due to fear, comfort in staying put, or simply the conviction that no other place is as good. Today, a colleague and I were in a vegetarian restaurant. We got up to pay and the cashier told us that the Buddhist monk who had left about five minutes before us had paid for us.
